This series of 10 paintings continue the exploration of sewing farbrics/clothing onto moving blankets then painting. However, a curtain of tar stained jute sacks, cut and frayed, is sewn over the painting. Numerous wholes are cut into the jute curtain that expose the layers of painted fabric below. I was and still am highly influenced by the artist Ibrahim Mahama of Ghana.
