Begi Guggenheim likes to work with found objects and everyday objects. This can easily be explained by the inexpensiveness of these materials and the fact that they simply fit very often harmoniously into the overall appearance. He already used pots, TV screens, functional radios and hotplates to form his artworks. Even a finished artwork, it was a wooden sculpture from Africa, was deconstructed and modernized by the artist, adding electronic waste like old computer circuit boards and old light bulbs, calling our attention to long-distance exports of waste from the rich West to poor Africa, thereby exploiting differences in income and wealth in all these areas. The artwork shows that the waste is taken by the continent Africa, allegorically represented by this African figure.
