Lines are reminiscent of the fine threads that arise through connection with someone opposite. In her approach to painting and drawing, Klaudia Stöckl connects with the landscape, with places and later in the studio with her pictures. Fine threads run back and forth and find their expression on paper, on canvas. Lines divide or give structure to the pictorial space, are drawn, carved, disappear or condense upon themselves.
