“Mastigias – die Quälle” –  is a social-ecological and participative art installation project for the city of Vienna. This huge art installation with demensions of 1200 x 550 x 650 cm was planned to be errected in t Vienna in different public places. Here we see the model of this project as a creature like a huge jellyfish and amphibian being able to leave the sea and to threaten mankind, it is an apocalyptical allegory on the climate change and on rising sea levels.

Like in many works of the artist we find allegories and allusions wherby  he adds modern elements to well-known but distorted forms to enable a new view to a specific topic.
