Klaudia Stöckl's artistic work explores the tension between representational and abstract painting: Earth-colored areas spread over various rectangular and square formats. Her painterly works initially evoke an abstract impression, but upon closer inspection one discovers that her works  are strongly committed to the landscape. Stöckl draws from the landscape and works with it, and the depth of space depicted by the landscape is a very important element of her art.
