In the works of Klaudia Stöckl, romantic insights can be discerned as well as echos of  abstract expression. The earth metaphor never loses its explanatory power. She makes use of a realistic naturalism, which captures a special landscape experience. In addition, she lets the earth appear powerful. The expressive works impress with their special surface aesthetics and the power of the so-called earth colors. The exhibited results include painterly sophistication and emotional clarity.
