The paths to abstraction lead Klaudia Stöckl to an entanglement of space and nature. The interplay between inside and outside is of particular importance. The artist internalizes structures in nature that happened by chance as moments such as erosion, and captures them painterly in the form of layers of paint, which create special reliefs on the surface of the picture.
