Coming from landscape drawing, Klaudia Stöckl has evolved to an increasingly abstract level with the series Terra Incognita, with which she captures her impressions on paper of things seen while walking through the woods.

The almost square fields of color only appear to be monochrome. The forms that take on a life of their own are dynamic. Stories of lines that redefine their own geometry and move vividly between the vertical and the horizontal are told for the viewer to discover and interpret.
