intervention, installation, mixed media, glas, plastic, styrofoam, metal, wood

200 x 60 x 60 cm / 78,74 x 23,6 x 23,6 inches

10,000 - is the name of the art installation that reacts to the exhibition space and is a memorial for the mass consumer and throwaway society.

The materials used here are all from the Gegner-House, old glass doors, pipes, cables, plastic.

The work of art exists as long as the house - until it is torn down. The materials, however, if they are not recycled again, have the following rotting times:

Glass: 4000 years // Styrofoam: 6000 years // Plastic: 450 years // etc.
