This was a very early 'Curtain Painting'. The pleats were sewn into the fabric. Paint was poured/stained from the top. I do not remember the exact fabric used.
This piece was in a show at the Lowe Museum in Coral Gables, FL. in a show called 'FABRICATIONS'.
Rauschenberg was in this show as well as other important artists.
